The Perfect Woman

As part of one of my modules this semester at uni we work in groups to form a theatre company, which at the end of the module will put on a performance. My group are looking into the idea of the perfect woman, started by the original idea of mannequins.

After discussing what we would personally describe as the perfect woman we have decided to ask others what they think. No matter of your age, gender or nationality let me know your idea of the perfect woman and any other thoughts or comments you may have on this matter. I shall try and keep this updated of what people have said and on how our group are getting on with the creation of our performance!

The perfect woman?

Can't really help, I don't have anything I specifically go for looks-wise. There's lots of personality things though x

I'd say the perfect woman doesn't always have to involve "perfect" looks. A personality goes a long way.... With a good personality comes a natural woman who will be herself no matter what and in any situation :) x

She has to be kind and loving and have a good sense of humour xx

I agree with the above. However, there is always the initial physical attraction people experience.

I think confidence really helps. No such thing as the perfect women. It's a media concept that creates a lot of conflict within female society.

The perfect woman: Confident, trustworthy, loving! Initial physical attraction is important! Personaltiy is the biggest thing, they have to be able to have fun, and smile lots, and always be themselves!!

there has to be something special about them, doesnt have to be a physical thing, could be the way she walks or smiles. it could be confidence. it could be the sparkle in her eye.
after that there has to be some sort of physical attraction, then theres the personality bit...
has to be smart (not necisarily academically)
sense of humour..
laid back
up for anything
spontanious
...
im picky ok :)

i don't think there is such a thing as the perfect woman. if there is, it is down to each and every individual who thinks of one. the perfect woman is a fantasy that can only be held in each and every person's own mind and heart, and that woman will be unique to them alone. there are women that fit all of the above descriptions, but personally, i think it's the imperfections that define us and make us truly unique and in some sense, perfect for someone....... that's what i think and feel

Having a personality I think is very important. I've met many girls/women without own opinions who just followed the 'rest' and the trend in every way. and I agree with the comments above: sense of humour, loving, natural, smart but there is no perfect woman anyway, a woman can be perfect for one/two person but that won't make her perfect for everyone.

If they embody Florence Welch (or Katy Perry) they are pretty spot on :)

But on a serious note, someone with nice hair who is funny and likes to smile :)

The perfect woman wouldn't have the perfect life.

i don't think there is such a thing as "the perfect woman" but i do think every woman is perfect in her own way, in the same way that every person is. i think every woman has their own beauty, their own perfections and imperfections, and that the beauty of the personality is made in the same way, but that there is no such thing as perfect.

in a strange way i think imperfection creates perfection, if that makes sense, like everyone has an individual something about themself which makes them them. i hope this helps :)

The perfect woman does not lie, even a white lie. She is also trusting. Looks have nothing to do with being a perfect woman.

inital attraction is obvious, but beauty is different to every heart. most men admit they look for superfical looks for a one night thing, and then beauty on the inside and out for relationships.
theres no such thing as the perfect woman, merely sterotypes :)

This all credits down what the individual sees as the perfect woman... as the perfect woman could not be defined.

Firstly defining 'perfect'. Perfection's meaning is faultless in all degrees and aspects. So then only are we looking at the major details but also the minor details as well. such as:- is her face symmetrical, does she walk to quick, looking at the way she fork.. the way her tongue moves when she speaks.. are her boobs wonky?... her eyelash hair too curly... are her toes perfectly shaped... can she cook and play sports?

Its a huge measuring tape in which everyone uses differently. such as breast size... it doesn't take a scientist to know the average male would say that the perfect female has bigger cup size than female would believe. So may finding a perspective or angle may help narrow your answers. (unless or course you wants the different opinion of randoms of a broad topic).

My belief and this only a opinion it would be interesting if performance showed either how woman would react with they sat next to the perfect woman. I know that if I sat next to someone like Mary Poppins for instance... I would either recognize my own flaws comparing them to myself to I would mimic or even try to impersonate them to cover my own.
Or I would get jealous to point that I would cause her bodily harm to make her imperfect like everyone else.
Or even be intimidated by a person that betters me in every aspect of well-being. So much you that I could get transfixed and follow this person just so that I could learn how to better my own life.

However seeing the perfect person would make me question would I prefer the perfect life or the my own individual life. In which I would always answer my own.

So when you are making your performance... make sure you make it clear want to do with this perfect person genre. because there are many routes you can take as you can see...

I could waffle on more but I don't want to overload you :P

All the best
